“Celebrity Apprentice”, ‘Walking Papers’ Episode Part I

The last episode of the Trump empire show began with Aubrey and Dayana returning to the suite. Patricia got the axe this week and the women continue to fight instead of pulling together as a team. On the men’s side, Clay visits his charity, the National Inclusion Project, and offers up the winnings of $50,000.

The teams gather in the lobby for their assignment from Trump.  They are challenged to create a NEW York Guidebook and use a Toshiba tablet to write and design it.  Teresa takes the reigns for the women, noting they need strong leadership for a team with low morale. Dee steps up for the men.  Toshiba is offering a bonus prize to the winner.

Teresa tasks the team with making calls for the fundraiser. Dayana throws out ideas as always, Debbie and Lisa work well together. Aubrey is frustrated with Teresa and Dayana. Dee focuses on the money more than the guidebook. They head to the roof to shoot Manhattan scenes at Penn’s suggestion.

Lisa and Debbie return to work with the graphic designer. Lisa is mad at the other three because they are late getting back. Debbie is upset that no one was tasked with the kiosk they need to sell the book. Debbie and Aubrey head out to shop for the kiosk items, and Teresa thinks they are setting her up.

Paul doesn’t know the city so Penn writes Paul’s neighborhood description, saying how Paul detests the East side. Penn announces that  Blue Man Group will be a major contributor for him. Arsenio is getting a FedEx from Jay Leno, a blank check the team can fill in.

Meanwhile, Lisa is throwing her normal fits as if she is the only one that can do anything on her team and tells Dayana to shut up while the men are first to start selling their guide on the street. Blue Man Group comes through but explodes the money from large balloons and the public retains part of the proceeds, while the men’s other celebs come through for them, except Jay sent Arsenio’s check to his office, getting it stuck in traffic so his part does not arrive in time for the contest. All the while the women are pulling in the doe from fellow comics, friends and big time donors.

It’s bicker city in the boardroom as the women perform their normal cat fight stance, each blaming the other for the short falls. Trump pulls them back in and advises the members that the winner will take all the money for both sides. The men then say their peace with Penn explaining the Blue Man Group disaster and Trump sides with Clay that it should have been delivered differently. Trump unloads the big hit that there was only $14 between the winner and loser of the task with the Women raising $162, 855 and the men topping that with $162,869. Trump congratulates Dee as he will take $326,000 to the March of Dimes.

Back in the boardroom, the men watch as the women play cut throat. Teresa chooses Debbie and Dayana to come back. Dayana insists that she raises a lot of money, while Debbie disagrees with Teresa and blames Teresa for the delegation of tasks as the reason for the loss. Trump questions Teresa’s choice of the team’s weakest links in the task and says she should have brought Aubrey instead of Dayana, but since Debbie brought in the least of all the team, Debbie is fired. Debbie hugs Dayana on the way out but blows off Teresa as she leaves.

Part one ends with a showdown between Dee and Aubrey as he accuses her of messing up the women’s team and trying to stir trouble in the men’s team too. Lisa, the self-centered old bag is worried that they won’t be able to get anything done without Debbie. She feels she and Aubrey will be the only ones working. Stay tuned for part two.
