In the previous episode of the ABC hit series “Revenge,” Nolan sent Jack on a false mission to find Amanda in Canada, which was instructed per Emily in order to keep Jack from falling victim to Victoria’s wrath or into her plan to frame someone for Tyler’s murder instead of her precious son. However, Jack is coming up shy of his intentions to locate Amanda and is now coming home because he is worried about his brother Declan being a witness for the prosecution in Daniel’s murder trial. The trial is in its fifteenth day and has currently gone south for the defense.
As Nolan enters the room, Emily is listening to a conversation going on at the Grayson mansion. Nolan was surprised to see that Emily has brilliantly bugged queen Victoria’s castle. It is clear that Victoria is scheming with one of her cronies named Lee to intimidate one of the jurors. Following her orders to a tee, Lee threatens the woman’s young son if the juror doesn’t vote to acquit or make it a hung jury. Victoria is also heard soliciting her daughter’s help as Charlotte pops some pills before she tries to seduce and trick Declan into testifying in Daniel’s favor at the trial.
Meanwhile, Daniel begins to wonder if his mother is right that he can’t trust Emily as he notices Jack visit her after he comes back into town. He is curious what the two of them are up to behind his back. Jack thinks no one knows about the blood stained hoodie he is saving in case the prosecution goes after Amanda. In the mean time, Emily has Nolan persuade Declan that he needs to do whatever possible to keep the Grayson’s from going after Jack. That is exactly what Declan does as he commits perjury by stating that there really wasn’t anyone on the beach that night, and he was only saying that for Charlotte to protect her.
Emily continues to stay focused on things as she gets Nolan to take Jack away from the Stowaway long enough for her to find the hoodie. Meanwhile, Daniel is freaking out as his suspicion of Emily gets the best of him. He begins to drink and become heavily intoxicated as he awaits Emily’s return. Upon Emily entering the house, Daniel shoves her in a rage just before the police arrive to take him to Rikers as he is supposed to be on house arrest, although he let his temper override the bail agreements.
Charlotte becomes more out of control as her ex-boyfriend supplies her with drugs and Victoria continues to have an affair with Dominik in his loft as she shares with him how she fell in love with David Clarke in her marriage of convenience. Harper flexes his power buy running Dominik out of town with his threats of a previous forgery art scam between Dominik and a young Vicky Harper.
Back at the Stowaway, Jack freaks when he realizes someone has taken the hoodie, but it is found later by the police due to an anonymous tip. They find it in Lee’s car, the thug who Victoria has beat up Daniel to get him out of jail. He is arrested and sent to Rikers. While Lee knows he is framed for the murder, he calls Victoria to let her know he will take her down with him. Conrad explains he will clean up her mess with Lee just like he does all the others. She is destroyed when she realizes he has run Dominik out of town as the only thing left behind is the unfinished photo of her.
Daniel writes a letter to Emily, apologizing for the mess he created. Lee is found hanged in his cell with a suicide note confessing to Tyler’s murder which will set Daniel free. Emily and Nolan listen to a recording of Conrad talking to someone they don’t recognize about another David Clarke type situation. As Conrad requests an inside job, Emily realizes that Lee did not commit suicide and her father wasn’t killed in a random knife fight. The revelation that her father was murdered by the Grayson’s only enhances her “Revenge” feelings.
